A Short Whine

I know that a crises can occur and something demanding comes into our lives. But it is NOT fair that you just delete your blog. At least say goodbye and leave the farewell up for 30 days so that we know you are OK and just moving on with your life. No one says you have to continue your blog, but it IS polite to say goodbye.

  3. I also love this photo. It's a beautiful shape.
I have no idea who you are talking about and what had happened previously, but I think it a pity to close a blog without saying anything.

  4. I don't want to finger point, but a blog that was updated infrequently, but which I visited, just disappeared. It leaves one with a haunting feeling.

  5. I know the feeling. I have thought of giving up those habit, er hobby, at times but as odd as it may sound, there are relationships I have made through blogging that I just can't leave hanging if I decide to move on. It does make you worry, doesn't it? I mean, an email would be nice.

  6. Egad at first, I thought you might have been referring to me because of my infrequent posts and long absence. Never for a moment, however, did I think about closing up shop. I just didn't have the proper resources to sit down and type out an explanation for my hibernation.

I DO know what you mean though ... same thing happened to me a while back and it was MOST disturbing.

I agree that it's only polite to post a goodbye if that is your intention.

  7. blogs should never be deleted because it savagely rips the fabric of the blogosphere. it also provides a URL for spammeisters and pornsters to grab and subvert to their content-free purposes.
