Still Hangin In There

Slowing down and finishing the big lists.  But. I will return like a bad penny, a nasty mosquito, an enduring allergy...soon.

  1. I see that you haven't posted in a week, so I haven't missed much; as I've been hitting and missing (more missing) the reading of my beloved blogs. :)

With kids at home, April thru mid-June is very busy. I'm sure you can recall. Anyway, get back soon!

  2. I have failed in my efforts to enjoy spring on your behalf. You're just going to have to get back here and start telling us how to do it right.

  3. While you are so busy, try to be busy about a bit of R&R, too. It's healthy.

  8. It's Mother's Day so I don't feel guilty about not having a To Do List. I get tired just thinking about everything that you do. Happy Mother's Day.

  9. Well---as busy as you are, hope it has all been productive. A Happy Mother's Day to you... Hope today is a wonderful day. I'm sure it will be..

I am improving with each passing day from my surgery --but the weekend was NOT a 'piece of cake' for me.... Oh Well... Keeps me honest, I guess... ha ha

    Hugs,
    Betsy

  10. Good to be busy as opposed to bored!

Hope your Mother's Day was good n all the kids got to touch base.
Is there such a thing as a bad penny? Every penny counts!

  12. Of course you will, in your own good time.

Thanks for the comment on Mother’s Day. Like you what I miss most is the chance of talking it out, maybe even finally ending up on the same page. But that is silly, mine didn’t see it when she was alive. Why should she ever have done so if she had stayed alive longer? Old people remain themselves, more so than ever.

If I could, I’d give the whole thing up now, instead of which I plague myself with regrets.
